Mrs. John Lee formerly Sarah Charlson daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Charlson was born July 2, 1869 in Howard township and died April 15, 1924 at Story City. She was 54 years, 9 months and 13 days old. In Feb. 18, 1892 she was united in marriage of John Lee. Mrs. Lee had been in poor health for over a year, growing steadily worse since February. She was sick in bed only a week, her death being caused by diabetes. Funeral services were held Saturday in the Immanuel church, Rev. Heimarck officiating. She leaves her husband, a son, George and a daughter, Jessie, two sisters Mrs. Lena Hanson of north of town, Mrs. Annie Anderson of Nye, Wis., and two brothers, John Charlson of Carpio, N. D. and Ingebrit Charlson of Gilbert.
