THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, August 6, 2005.

Phyllis M. LeBrun, 86, of Dell Rapids died Wednesday, Aug. 3. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Dell Rapids. Burial will be in Dell Rapids Cemetery.

Phyllis M. LeBrun was born June 6, 1919, in Sioux Falls, S.D., to J. Laurie and Avice Taylor. She married Ed LeBrun Jan. 20, 1938, in Garretson, S.D.

She is survived by children, Judy (Dale) Thompson of Garretson and Jim (Mary) LeBrun of Ames; seven grandchildren, Jean (Rick) Williams of Nashville, Tenn., Jodie (Dean) Jaton of Sioux Falls, Julie (Greg) Hammer of Garretson, Laurie LeBrun (Steve Edgecomb) of San Diego, Sara LeBrun-Blashka (Eric Blashka) of Minnetonka, Minn., Jim Ed LeBrun of Ames and Brian Taylor of Ames; nine great-grandchildren, Kim, Aaron (Shanaya), Alexis, Jared, Nathan, Will, Kyle, Jack and Alex; one great-great-grandchild, Hayden; numerous nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. today, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A wake service will be at 7 p.m. at Minnehaha Funeral Home in Dell Rapids.
