THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, August 2, 2005.

Irene Eleanor Engel, 92, formerly of Iowa City, died Saturday, July 24, at Solon Care Center.

She is survived by three daughters, Joy (Dr. Allen) Lang of Ames, Janelle Johnson of Minneapolis and Joan (Steve) Scarff of Bozeman, Mont.; one son, Jim Engel of Montreal, Canada; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
