OBITUARY

CAROLINE NELSON

Miss Caroline Nelson, who lived for many years near the home of her brother-in-law, N. J. Nelson, west of Nevada died Monday morning at the home of her niece, Mrs. F. H. Kinsman with whom she had lived for the past two years. Miss Nelson was born in Denmark, December 23, 1837, and died as stated near Nevada, Iowa, December 13, 1915, her age lacking but ten days of 78 years. She emigrated to America in 1868 and in the early '70s located near her brother-in-law and sister here. Her funeral will be conducted from the Lutheran church in this city this afternoon by Rev. Shirck.
