Final Services Held for Robert Shickell
NEVADA: Funeral services for Robert Lewis Shickell were held from the Nevada Evangelical United Brethren Church Thursday(27th) at 2 p.m. Rev. Donald M. Gruber, assisted by Rev. Virgil Shickell officiated.

Keith Shickell, accompanied by Miss Beeula Settle, was soloist. Mrs. Ervin Williams and Mrs. Wesley McDaniels cared for the flowers.

Casket bearers were: Eugene Greiner, George Larson, Lowell Shickell and Murray Shickell.

Interment was in the Iowa Center Cemetery.

Life Sketch--Robert Lewis Shickell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wiliam Shickell, was born in 1942 at Nevada.

He became afflicted at the age of two months. He was taken to specialists in several states and received valuable treatment. When his condition became so that he could not be cared for adequately at home, he was admitted to the State Hospital at Woodward in 1950.

He became ill on Dec. 19 and died on Dec. 24.

Survivors include: his parents, Mr.and Mrs. Wiliam Shickell; two brothers, Fred, LeMars; Bill at home; a sister, Nancy, also at home; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Shickell, Nevada and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Blickensderfer, Colo.
