OBITUARY

MRS. OLEY NELSON

Mrs. Oley Nelson of Slater died suddenly Sunday at the Methodist Hospita in Des Moines, where she was convalescing from an operation performed three weeks earlier. She had been up all day Saturday, visited with members of her family and was expecting to return home on Sunday, but was taken ill Saturday evening [January 7, 1917] and died of blood clot, about 1:30 Sunday morning.

Mrs. Nelson leaves besides her husband Hon. Oley Nelson, six daughters, two sons all grown and two brothers. The later are Anfin Ersland of Cambridge and A. K. Ersland of Buhl, Idaho.

The funeral is being held this afternoon at Bethlehem church, Slater.
