Cambridge Man Found Dead In Bed at His Home
Cambridge, Dec. 16--Edward Tomlinson, age about 41 years, died at his home here last evening probably about 8:00 p.m. although he was not found for some time.
Mr. Tomlinson had been ill for some time and had complained of a severe headache during the afternoon.
Coroner Mills was called this forenoon to investigate the matter, in accordance with the las which provides such procedure in case of death of this nature although in this case there was no question but that the death was a natural one.
He leaves besides his wife, five sons, Edward of Omaha, Leslie, Melvin, Paul and Wrex at home and one daughter, Ruth Eline.
He also leaves his mother, [sisters] Mrs. Ruth Waud of Marshalltown, Mrs. Myrtle Blair of St. Paul, Mrs. Marion Gill of Cambridge, and Mrs. Grace Larson of Madrid.
There will be private funeral services held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the home with Rev. Judson Perkins in charge. Burial will be in the Cambridge cemetery.
Mr. Tomlinson, a World War veteran, was to have entered the Veterans' hospital in Des Moines Wednesday of next week for examination and treatment.
He had been an invalid for some time and arrangements had but recently been perfected for him to enter the hospital.
