Mrs. Martin Nibe Dies at Story City; Victim of Pneumonia

Special to the Journal:
Story City, Aug. 15--Mrs. Martin F. Nibe, 74, died at her home here Monday evening at 6 o'clock from pneumonia after an illness of a week.

Mrs. Nibe who came from her native Norway when about 20 years of age, had lived the balance of her life in this community.

She leaves four daughters and two sons, her husband having been dead for some time. The daughters are Mrs. Hilman Granville of Stanhope, Mrs. Martin Olson of Radcliffe, Mrs. Peter Sorenson of Zearing, and Mrs. George Cole of Jewell; while the sons are George and Reuben Nibe of Story City. There is also one sister, Mrs. Celia Eitrheim of Balaton, Minn.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p. m. at Bethel Lutheran church here, with prayer at the home at 1:30 p. m. Burial will be in the Story City cemetery. Rev. Hans Oppedahl will be in charge.
