Funeral Services at State Center for Municipal Employee

State Center, Jan. 19--Funeral services will be held in State Center Friday for H. C. Prosser, who for nearly 25 years was an employee at the municipal electric light plant. Mr. Prosser died at his home after an illness of a year and a half caused by carcinoma.

Herbert C. Prosser was born May 2, 1878, in Shelby, Mich., a son of Adelbert and Flora Prosser. In 1898 he married Dena Aderholt [should be Aderhold.] They were the parents of six children, three of whom survive. Mrs. Prosser died in 1936. The surviving children are Mrs. Herman Kutzner, Mrs. Lawrence Wilkening and Mrs. Ralph Jones, all of State Center. Also surviving are a brother Harry Prosser of Shelby, Mich., and a sister Mrs. Nettie Allen, of Conneaut, Ohio.

Rev. David Arnold of State Center Methodist church, will have charge of the funeral service. Burial will be made in Hillside cemetery.
