STORY COUNTY DEATHS

MAMIE RIERSON

Mrs. Ward Rierson (Mamie), 83, of Ames died at her home Monday, May 4, 1981.

She was born May 7, 1897 in Humboldt County, the daughter of Engle and Martha Lugland Engleson [should be Engelson]. On June 8, 1927, she married Ward Rierson at the Little Brown Church, Nashua, Ia.

Mrs. Rierson is survived by her husband; two sons, Loren of Nevada and Carroll of Ames; three daughters, Mary Amick of Las Vegas, Wanda Kephart of Balboa, Calif., and Bonnie Hansen of Ft. Collins, Col.; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 8, at 10:30 a.m. at Ascension Lutheran Church, Ames. Burial will follow in the Nevada Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Stevens Memorial Chapel, Ames, from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday evening.
