On Thursday, Dec. 1, Mr. Charlie Beck of Cambridge passed away at the home of his mother, after an illness of several months. During the early summer Mr. Beck contracted a severe infection of the throat and immediately went to Colorado, hoping that the change in climate would be beneficial, but returned to his home at Cambridge some five or six weeks ago. He was accompanied on the trip by his sister, Mrs. Boyd Maxwell, who remained with him during his stay in Colorado. He leaves to mourn his death, his mother, Mrs. Barbara Beck, two brothers, Smith and James and a sister, Nellie Beck, all of Cambridge, and Mrs. Boyd Maxwell of Maxwell.
