Sad Death Stirs Entire Community

Five-Year Old Boy Dies After Short Illness of Less Than 48-Hours

Little Bobbie, the five year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Bradford Dial, died at the home of his parents last Friday morning, after an illness of only about 48 hours. At the time of his death he was exactly 5 years, 5 months and 20 days.

He, in company with his parent, had been in Nevada previous to his sad death, doing their Christmas shopping, and the youngster had selected all his Christmas gifts and had even spoken of Santa Claus before his death.

In this untimely death of this little boy, the entire community mourns with the bereaved parents.

The funeral services were held last Saturday afternoon, conducted by Dr. C. Newton Swihart, after which the remains were laid in the Nevada cemetery.
