THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, July 13, 2005.

M. "Lolly" Quam Osborne, 94, of Ames, died Monday, July 11, at Green Hills Health Care Center in Ames. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, at Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada with the Rev. David Burling officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Oceanside, Calif.

Lolly Quam Osborne was born June 30, 1911, in Roland to John and Amanda (Swenson) Quam. She attended St. Olaf College. She married Aaron Pat Osborne in 1935 in California. She was an administrator for the state of California. She had been a resident of Hayward, Calif., and Laguna Hills, Calif., before moving to Ames. She enjoyed music and volunteer work.

She is survived by one brother, Grant (Betty) Quam of Ames.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Pat Osborne; two brothers, Roy and Earl Quam; three sisters, Frances Moe, Lillian Kubias and Rose Quam.

Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada is in charge of arrangements.
