Lizzie Flickinger Dies In Des Moines

Maxwell -- Lizzie Flickinger, 82, died Saturday, November 28 at a nursing home in Des Moines. She had been a resident of Maxwell until four years ago when she went to Des Moines to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. Ruth Allyn. Mrs. Flickinger was a member of Annie Laurie Chapter O. E. S. at Maxwell.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 1 at the Cooper Funeral home in Maxwell at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Center Grove cemetery. The Rev. Harry Shiffler of Des Moines will officiate.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Allyn of Des Moines, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
