BODY OF DROWNING VICTIM IS HERE

WILLARD O'NEIL WILL BE BURIED IN COLO CEMETERY WEDNESDAY

Funeral services for Willard O'Neil, 20, Nevada young man who was drowned in a gravel pit pool near Harvey, in Marion county Sunday, will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p. m., at the Methodist Episcopal church in Colo, with Rev. A. J. Clements officiating.

Following the services interment will be in the Colo cemetery by the side of the sister who died seven years ago in December.

The young man was born a son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. M. O'Neil on a farm north of Colo, twenty years ago on July 20. He attended the Colo schools and made his home with his parents, until they left the farm and moved to Nevada.

He had been working through this summer with a gravel contractor in Marion county and two weeks ago today was united in marriage to Miss Daisy Wilson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wilson of Harvey. The bride of a week was with him when he met his tragic death.

The parents, accompanied by Rev. Clements, went to Harvey Sunday afternoon immediately after hearing of the tragedy. They returned home Monday to arrange for the funeral.

The boy arrived at the O'Neil home 1229 Lincoln avenue this noon and will be kept there until it is taken to Colo for the services Wednesday.

He leaves besides his bride of a few days, his parents Mr. and Mrs. Chas. M. O'Neil, sisters Wilma and Wilda and brother Averill. There is also a half brother Hugh O'Neil who lives at Carroll.
