RUSSEL SHELDAHL DIED

Russel J. Sheldahl passed away Tuesday noon at the Sheldahl home in Roland, after a short illness with intestinal complications. Although he had been affected for some time, his condition was not serious until Friday.

The deceased was born on the Sheldahl homestead in the south part of town February 5, 1863, and died February 24, 1931, at the age of 68 years, and 19 days. His parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Sheldahl, pioneer residents, the latter of whom died January 5 at the age of nearly 94 years.

He lived here all his life and was well known in the community. He is survived by five sisters and two brothers, Mrs. S. J. Severson of Alsen, N.D.; Mrs. Caroline Burrets and Mrs. G. H. Krohn of Des Moines; Mrs. O. I. Eggland and Miss Martha Sheldahl of Roland; Oscar Sheldahl of Elmore, Minn., and Lewis Sheldahl of Perley, Minn.

The funeral will be held tomorrow, Friday, afternoon at 1:30 at the residence and at 2 o'clock in Salem church, Rev. Olaf Holen officiating, with interment in the Roland cemetery.
