Jondall Funeral Tuesday Afternoon

Story City, Feb. 14--Arrangements are under way here today for the funeral of John S. Jondall, 45, Story City man who died at the hospital here, Friday, to be held at St. Petri church Tuesday at 2:00, following brief services at the home at 1:30.

The sudden death of Mr. Jondall came as a distinct shock to the entire community, as he was taken ill but died eighteen hours later without gaining consciousness. Diabetes was the cause of death. Mr. Jondall was taken ill suddenly at noon Thursday while he was attending a farm sale east of Story City. He was taken immediately to his home an later to the hospital.

Mr. Jondall was born in Story City. Following his marriage he moved to Minnesota, returning to Story City seven years ago where he has since made his home. He is survived by his wife, a son Vernon, 10, mother, Mrs. Ole Jondall, brother Henry, and sisters, Mrs. Clarence Jacobson, Mrs. Thea Barnes and Miss Marie Jondall, all of Story City.
