THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, July 6, 2005.

Tilmer Ostenson, 99, resident of Barrett Care Center in Barrett, Minn., died Sunday, July 3, at the center. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 8, at United Lutheran Church in Elbow Lake, Minn., with the Rev. Lyle Hoxtell officiating. Burial will be in Ness Cemetery, Elbow Lake.

He is survived by two sons, Jerome of Ames and Harvey (Tina) of Taunton, Mass; two granddaughters Margaret and Michelle; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 7, at the Erickson-Smith Funeral Home in Elbow Lake and at the church one hour before services Friday, July 8.

Arrangements are with Erickson-Smith Funeral Home of Elbow Lake.
