*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: The mother of Dorothy "Dollie" (Berkshire) Hobson was Nettie Emiline (Berkshire) Pinaire. Nettie was born in 1870 and survived Dorothy dying in 1956. Being born in 1870, Nettie would have been 16 when she gave birth to Dorothy. Dorothy was given her mother's maiden name as her surname. Presumably Nettie was a single mother. Nettie later married John Felician Pinaire, who died 7 July 1932. Dorothy's siblings mentioned above were possibly her half siblings and their last name, like their mother, was Pinaire.
