Kennedy Child Died at Le Grand

Colo, June 18--Mr. and Mrs. Joseph M. Kennedy of Le Grand mourn the loss of their baby son Joseph Keith who passed away Wednesday evening at 6 o'clock at the Deaconness hospital in Marshalltown where he had been taken a short time previously. The baby was born March 23 and died June 15 after a brief illness of heart attack. The funeral services were conducted from the Estel Funeral parlors at 10 o'clock Friday morning with burial in the Colo cemetery. Rev. Taylor Guthrie of Le Grand had charge of the service. The parents have the sincere sympathy of the entire community. Mrs. Kennedy was formerly Miss Ann Bales of Colo. Relatives and friends from out of town attending the burial were Mrs. Kennedy and daughter Nell of Traer, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Bales and Mrs. and Mrs. Harry Dimmock and daughter Viola, Mrs. Fern Shickell of Ames, Mrs. Ruby Wilkins, Mr. and Mrs. George Bloomberg of Nevada, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Allen of Zearing, Mr. and Mrs. George Kibbie and Mr. R. Beane of Le Grand.
