VELMA KATHRYN DUNAHOO

Velma Kathryn Dunahoo, 74, died Friday, Feb. 15, 1985, at Story County Hospital in Nevada.

She was born Nov. 7, 1910, at Hartford, Ia., to Christian and Edna (Mead) Halterman. She was a resident of Maxwell.

She was married to Ralph Dunahoo Nov. 8, 1928, in Des Moines.

Mrs. Dunahoo was a cook at Iowa State University. She was a member of the Loring United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Ralph, a daughter, Gladys Goff of Nevada, three grandchildren, one great grandchild, a brother, Beryl Halterman of Urbandale, three sisters, Kathleen Godby of Maxwell, Lorraine Bowdre of Newaygo, Mich., and Maxine Williams of Des Moines.

Funeral services were Monday Feb. 18 at the United Methodist Church in Maxwell at 1:30 p.m. Burial was at Iowa Center.

Cooper Funeral Home of Maxwell was in charge of arrangements.
