"Mrs. O.J. Twedt

Mrs. Augusta Twedt was the daughter of Askel and Elizabeth Lein and was born September 1, 1868, on a farm two miles west of Roland. She died at her home November 20, 1935, at the age of 72 years, 2 months and 20 days.

She was married to Ole J. Twedt September 28, 1882, and four children were born to this union, one of which died in infancy. Those surviving are her two sons, Joseph O. and Oscar E. Twedt, and a daughter, Mrs. Lizzie Hanson, all of this place. Knutie Lein of this place was also reared at the Twedt home since he was two years old.

She also leaves three brothers, A.A. Lein of Forest City, Oscar O. Lein of Roland and Lars Lein of Huxley, and a sister, Mrs. Anna H. Twedt of Roland.

Mrs. Twedt had been in ill health for some time and her condition became serious several weeks ago. She had made plans to move from the farm to town, but her illness made it necessary to abandon the plan.

The funeral was held Monday afternoon at the home and at Bergen Lutheran church with Rev. M.O. Sumstad officiating. Interment was made in the Roland cemetery by the side of her husband who died a number of years ago. Music at the funeral was provided by the Bergen Ladies Aid chorus. The pall bearers were A.J. Shold, C.C. Helvig, M.D. Johnson, S.J. Nelson, Christ Egeland and Martin Minde.
