Rites For Morris O. Henderson Held At Bethany Church

Funeral services for Morris O. Henderson were held at Bethany Lutheran Church, northeast of Story City on Friday, April 10, at 2 p.m. Pastor Richard Newgaard officiated. Casketbearers were Alfred Tjernagel, John Wierson, Kenneth Skeie, Harvey Skeie, James Thompson and Sylvan Skeie. Burial was in Mamreland Cemetery near Randall.

Obituary

Morris O. Henderson was born April 28, 1885 at Randall. On February 23, 1910 he was married to Anna Braland of Story City. The couple farmed near Story City and he had spent most of his life in the Story City community He died at a nursing home in Austin, Minnesota on April 8, 1964.

Survivors include three sons and four daughters, Oscar, Arnold and Morris of Portland, Oregon; Mrs. Ethel Peterson of Beaverton, Oregon; Mrs. Sara Hummel of Austin, Minnesota; Mrs. Maxine Johanson and Mrs. Ihlene Keathing, all of Austin, Minnesota; three sisters, Mrs. Bert Thompson of Roalnd, Mrs. John Wierson of Story City, Mrs. Robert Ruegsegger of Stockton, California and three brothers, Richard of Long Beach, Calif., Burton of St. Louis Park, Minnesota and Lincoln of Minneapolis, Minn.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1935.
