Mrs. Alice McKim Died Friday at Medford, Oregon
Mrs. Alice McKim, 82, died at the home of her son Dr. Clyde Goldsberry at Medford, Oregon, Friday morning according to word received here by the son Ralph E. McKim.
Mrs. McKim had been in failing health for two years and the decline had been especially noticeable during the past two months.
Particulars regarding the funeral and interment are yet undetermined here, but it is thought probable that the services will be held at Medford, and the body brought back to Iowa later and laid to rest in the family lot in the Iowa Center cemetery.
Mrs. McKim leaves two sons Ralph E. McKim of Nevada and Dr. Clyde Goldsberry of Medford, Oregon. A third son Sidney Goldsberry died in 1910.
She also leaves a sister Anna Daugherty of Des Moines, Frank Daugherty of Waukee and John Daugherty who is in the west.
Mrs. McKim was born in Indiana a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Daugherty and came to town when a small girl. The family home was first at Iowa Center --- ------ at Nevada.
Another sister Mrs. Emma Moore --- ----- years ago.
