Former Nevadan is Dead At Age of 76

Mrs. Elida Lapp, 76, 1013 Ridgewood, Ames, died at her home Saturday, September 24, 1966.

She was born December 1, 1888 at Cambridge, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hendrickson. She graduated from the Cambridge High School and came to Ames in 1918.

She was married to W. H. Lapp, owner of the former Lapp Laboratories in Nevada, who died in 1949.

Survivors are a son, Charles W. Lapp of Des Moines and sister, Mrs. LeRoy Knapp of Ames. A daughter died in 1934.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 27 at 1:30 p.m. in the United Church of Christ Congregational Church in Ames of which she was a member. Rev. Ross B. Hartman will officiate. Burial will be in the Ames Municipal Cemetery.
