James C. Taylor Died at Home of Son
Special to the Journal.
Ames, June 27--Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2:00 at the United Brethren church, Ames, for James C. Taylor, 75, who died at the home of his son Jay Taylor, 230 Sherman avenue, here, Monday afternoon.Death was due to complications incident to his advanced years, aggravated by injuries sustained in a fall a few weeks ago, when he suffered a broken shoulder.
Mr. Taylor was born March 1, 1859, in Union county, Indiana. Mrs. Taylor died April 3, 1928.
Mr. Taylor leaves three sons, Jay at whose home he died, Clifford of Ames and Elmer of Hollandale, Minn.; two daughters, Mrs. A. E. Cameron and Mrs. G. W. Hayworth, both of Ames; four brothers, William of Albert Lea, Minn., George of Nevada, J. A. of St. James, Minn. and Edward of Collins; three sisters, Mrs. Mary White of Colo, Mrs. James Dunahoo and Mrs. Bennie Raimer, both of Albert Lea, Minn.
