Former Gilbert Woman Died at Waterloo

Gilbert, May 18 -- Mrs. J. C. Abrams, passed away May 11, at the home of her son Ray at Waterloo where she had been taken the week previous when she suffered a severe heart attack. She had been in poor health for a number of years. Viola Jacobs was born Feb. 1st, 1863*, and was 71 years old. She was married to John C. Abrams 50 years ago last Dec. 19.

Besides the sorrowing husband she leaves one daughter, Mrs. Robert Rishel and two sons, Ray of Waterloo and Arthur of Gilbert and four grandchildren. Also two sisters in Indiana and one brother in Texax and host of friends both here and at Waterloo where they made their home for a number of years. [The rest of the article is unreadable.]
