Lavonne Marie Richardson

Lavonne Marie Richardson, 57, of Nevada died of cancer Wednesday at home (2-23-1994). Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Lutheran Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Nevada Municipal Cemetery.

Mrs. Richardson was born (6-19-1936) in Iowa Falls and lived in Nevada 33 years. She was a laboratory technician at the National Animal Disease Center in Ames.

Surviving are her husband, Gene; a son, Gene Jr. of McCallsburg; two daughters Cindy Blessing of Zearing and Kathy Johnson of Nevada; eight brothers, Harold Bahr Jr., Eugene Bahr, Dale Bahr and Paul Bahr, all of Iowa Falls, and Robert Bahr, James Bahr, Donald Bahr, and Glen Bahr, all of Alden; four sisters, Evelyn Ford of Lone Tree, Dorothy Eldred of Eagle River, Alaska, Phyllis Ward of Edmond, Okla., and Connie Metzger of Eldora; six grandchildren; and a step-grandchild.

Friends may call from 1 to 7 p.m. today at Chet Ryan Mortuary, where the family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Mary Greeley Medical Center for cancer research.
