Mrs. Elmore Johnson Died Last Evening at Daughter's Home

Zearing, Oct. 30--Mrs. Elmore Johnson, 75, passed away Thursday evening at the home of her daughter, Mr. Russell Deal, at Zearing following an illness of several months. Since the death of her husband in October 1928, she has made her home with her four daughters, Mrs. John Tisdale, Mrs. Charles Barnard and Mrs. Russell Deal, all of Zearing and Mrs. Charles Yeager of Colo.

She was born Jane Andre at Mechanicsville, Iowa on June 12, 1861 and spent her early life in that community. She was united in marriage to Elmore Johnson on January 22, 1881 and they established their home at Jefferson, Ia., where their four children were born. In 1901 they moved to a farm south of Zearing in which community they have since made their home.

The funeral services will be at the Evangelical church in Zearing at 2 p. m. Sunday.
