Funeral Services For Henry Haig Held Monday

HUXLEY -- Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Dunn's Funeral home in Des Moines for Henry Haig, a former Huxley resident and well known in this community.

He was born Oct. 10, 1886 at Huxley and passed away at Mary Greeley hospital in Ames on Sunday morning, Feb. 17 at the age of 65 years, three month an one week.

He had been in failing health for sometime. He is survived by his wife, Celia, four children, Leander and Cecil of Des Moines, Constance Tegtmeyer of Chicago and June Ferguson of Ames, one sister, Mrs. Thor Hegland of McCallsburg and six grand children.

One daughter Lillian preceded him in death.
