THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, July 26, 1900, page 5, column 2. "Mrs. T. B. Smeltzer returned home last Friday from Dakota, Ill., where she was called on account of the death of her father."

[Later note by Dorian Myhre: Father of Mrs. T. B. Smeltzer is Henry Yount. Mrs. T. B. Smeltzer was Mary Caroline Yount who married Thomas B. Schmeltzer in Stephenson County, Illinois. Apparently, when he came to Iowa he made it Smeltzer.]
