MRS. ANSELMA BALDUS

Mrs. Anselma Baldus, age 66, of Story City, died of heart attack Tuesday evening, August 7 at the Rice County Hospital in Faribault, Minn. She was born February 1, 1907 in Boone County and was married in 1932 to Alfred Baldus, who died in 1945. She moved to Story City in 1961 after having lived on a farm west of Story City.

Services will be Friday, August 10, at the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, southwest of Story City. Rev. Father Carl J. Manternach will officiate, Father Leonard Baldus will assist. Rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 8 p.m. at the Soderstrum Larson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Baldus is survived by one daughter - Mrs. Gary (Arlene) Knouse, two sons - Vincent and Maurice, both of Boone, and one brother - Arnold Reinsch also of Boone. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, one son, and one sister.

The body will lie in state in the Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home from Thursday morning till 9 a.m. Friday.
