H. DEAN ROBERTSON

H. Dean Robertson, 79, of Rout 2 Nevada died Thursday in Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames after an extended illness.

Mr. Robertson was born June 21, 1894 in Cambridge, Nebraska to Jim and Mary Robertson. He was a retired farmer and a resident of Nevada for the past 34 years. He was married to Clare Gossman on September 7, 1927 in Columbus, Nebraska.

He is survived by his wife; three sons, Dean C. of Nevada, D. James of Nevada, Paul (Steve) of Cedar Rapids; one daughter, Lois C. Newton of Nevada; two brothers, Glen of Grass Valley, California, Jay, of Nevada; and one sister, Nina Ray of Humboldt, Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.

Funeral Services will be held at the Ryan Funeral Home, Sunday at 2:00 p.m. with Merlyn F. Silverthorn officiating. Burial will be in Story Memorial Gardens in Ames.
