Walter Henderson Dies in Minnesota

Walter L. Henderson, 72, a former resident of Story City, died at his home in Cross Lake, Minn. Friday after an apparent heart attack.

He was born in Randall June 29, 1892. His parents were Martin L. and Josephine Henderson and he was married to Isa Marvick of Story City. They lived in Story City until moving to Minnesota in 1920. Mrs. Henderson died in 1934.

He leaves a son, John in St. Paul, Minn., three daughters, Mrs. Pauline Puterbaugh, La Jolla, Calif.; Mrs. Gertrude Gray, Valley Forge, Pa.; and Mrs. Caroline Goode, Indianapolis, Ind. A sister, Myrtle Erickson, Randall and brother, Porter Henderson, Charlotte, N. C. also survive. A son, Donald, a brother and three sisters died previously.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Randall Lutheran Church with Rev. A. J. Bringle, pastor conducting the service. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery near Randall. The body will be at the Soderstrum Funeral Home in Story City until noon Monday.
