DEATHS

DONALD WM. WOLFE

Donald William Wolfe, son of Celia and Harvey Wolfe was born July 26, 1929 at Independence, Iowa and died March 30, 1966 at the Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego, Calif. at the age of 36 years.

He was baptized and confirmed at the Zion United Church of Christ in Hubbard. He graduated from the New Providence High School in May of 1946 and in Sept. 1946 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. On October 15, 1950, he was united in marriage to Florence Schroeder of Boston, Mass. To this unino were born three children, Donna Marie, Donald William, Jr. and Debra Ann. Besides his wife and three children, Donald is survived by his mother, Celia Wolf of McCallsburg; two sisters, Mrs. Vernon (June) Dwiney of Hubbard; Mrs. John (Marie) Caltvedt of McCallsburg and four nieces and two nephews also numerous other relatives and friends.

At the time of his death, he had completed 20 years of service and was to have been discharged March 22. His rating was Chief Ship Fitter.

Burial was April 4, 1966 at the Hubbard Cemetery.
