DEATHS

LYLE GORDON SCOTT

Lyle Gordon Scott, son of Jacob Drake Scott and Elizabeth Scott, was born in Polk County, Iowa, May 4, 1888, and departed this life at the Oak Park Manor in Nevada, Iowa March 31, 1966.

He was married to Agnes Jess and to this marriage were born four children, Jacob Donald, Elois, Robert and Lyle, Jr. He was preceded in death by his wife and two children, Donald and Eloise.

He was a life-long resident of the Maxwell community and held membership in the Maxwell Christian Church.

He is survived by two sons, Dr. Robert Scott of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Dr. Lyle Scott, Jr. of Ft. Dix, New Jersey, and six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Also three sisters, Laura, Marie and Alice and five brothers, Cecil, Forest, Burness, Dale and Arnold.

Services were held at the Maxwell Christian Church on April 2, with the Rev. Ronald Taylor officiating. Interment was at the Maxwell Cemetery.
