Robert Askelson Is Dead in Wheaton, Ill. At the Age of 52, of Wheaton, Ill. Death occurred Thursday, Jan. 20 from a heart attack.

Born April 10, 1913 on a farm near Story City, he made his home their until moving to Illinois in 1937.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 22 at 1 p.m. at the Hanerhoff Funeral Home in Wheaton, Ill. A second service will be held at the St. Petri Lutheran Church in Story City on Monday, Jan. 24 at 2 p.m. The Rev. Quentin Quanbeck will officiate.

Burial will be in the Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home, Story City on Sunday, Jan. 23.

He is survived by his wife, Judith, the former Judith Henryson of Story City; three sons, Williams of Wheaton, Ill., Paul of Los Angeles, Calif., Loren of Washington, D.C.; his mother, Mrs. Albert (Anna) Askelson of Story City, one sister, Mrs. Irving (Sara) Wierson of Story City and one brother, Earl of Story City.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, and his father, Albert S. Askelson.

He had been employed as a salesman for the Drew Chemical Co. in New Jersey.
