THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, February 16, 1922, page 1. "OBITUARY - Clara Bell, daughter of S. L. and Sarah Denniston, was born June 13, 1873, in Story county, Iowa, and lived all her life in this vicinity, with the exception of a short time in Oklahoma. She united with the Methodist Protestant church early in life, to which faith she remained true throughout her life. She was united in marriage to W. A. Ozmun January 14, 1892. To this union were born eight children, namely, Mrs. Blanche Woods, Mrs. Flora Vasey, Andrew, Samuel, Dorothy and Catherine, all of Collins, two daughters, Vilda and Zola departed this life in the tender years of childhood. Mrs. Ozmun was a woman, whom to know was to love, and her friends were numbered only by her acquaintance. She was a woman who appealed to the young as well as to the old, and her home was a favorite gathering place for the young people of the community. She departed this life, February 25, 1922, at the home of her parents in Oklahoma City, to which place she with her husband had gone to be present at the golden wedding of her parents. She leaves beside her husband and children, to mourn their loss, her aged father and mother, two brothers and their families, five grandchildren and many other relatives and friends who deeply sympathize with the bereaved family. - Collins Gazette."

THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, March 2, 1922, page 1, column 4. "DEATH OF MRS. WM. OZMUN - Funeral service were held on Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Wm. Ozmun of Collin, whose death occurred in Oklahoma, where she had gone to attend a golden wedding anniversary and was taken ill. The body was brought back on Tuesday of this week."
