Area Deaths

MRS LUCILLE MITCHELL

Funeral services will be held from the Ryan Funeral home here Thursday for Mrs. John (Lucille) Mitchell, 57 who died Sunday at her home in Lafayette, Calif.

Rev. Jeen S. Park will officiate at the services, with burial at the Woodland Cemetery at Iowa Center.

Mrs. Mitchell was born Sept. 29, 1915 at Nevada to L. R. and Mina Weeks. She married John Mitchell and was a member of the First Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband John; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Weeks of Nevada, a son Dennis J. Brady of Lafayette, three grandchildren; three brothers Forrest of Nevada, Henry of New Richmond, Wis., and James H. of Columbus, Ohio, three sisters Mrs. Helen Porter of Des Moines, Mrs. Elsie Taylor of Silver City, Ia., and Mrs. Martha Sorem of Winona, Minn.

She was preceded in death by one son, Robert.
