MRS. MARTHA MUSE

Mrs. Martha A. Muse of 1429 3rd Street, Nevada, died at the Story County Hospital Wednesday at the age of 82.

She had been ill for several months, suffering from a coronary.

Born March 31, 1890, at Lineville, she was the daughter of James and Charlotte Harris. She had lived here for 54 years and was housewife.

She was married to Clell J. Muse on Feb. 22, 1907, at Humeston, Iowa, and was a member of the Nevada Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband Clell J. Muse, a son Kenneth M. Muse of Nevada, two daughters, Louise L. Parks of Mishawaka, Ind., and Beulah M. Tillotson of Nevada, 14 grandchildren, one brother, Gerald Harris of Humeston, and three sisters, Mrs. Stella Gibbs of Nevada, Mrs. Anna Richards of Weldon and Mrs. Hazel Palmer of Humeston.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two daughters and two grandsons.

Funeral services will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home Friday at 1:30, with Rev. Jeen Park officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
