CARL C EATWELL

Carl C. Eatwell, Marshalltown, brother of Mrs. Edith Setzer of Nevada, died early Sunday morning in Marshalltown hospital after having suffered a heart attack Tuesday.

The son of Cyrus and Arpie Longnecker Eatwell, he was born near Mingo May 30, 1900. He was married to Miss Mabel Stier January 14, 1920 and farmed in the Mingo, Collins and Rhodes communities before moving to Marshalltown in 1944.

He worked at Swift and Co. until retirement in 1965.

Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Charles Thomas of Marshalltown; two grandchildren, two brothers, John and Alfred, both of Mingo; three sisters, Mrs. Edith Setzer of Nevada, Ruth Hall of Bondurant, and Edna Geisler of Baxter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

Funeral services will be at the Estel-Perrin Funeral Home in Marshalltown Wednesday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens in Marshalltown.
