LEO B. MATHION

Funeral services will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Tuesday for Leo B. Mathison, long-time Ford dealer in Nevada, who died at his home Saturday morning.

Mathison ha lived his entire life in the Nevada community. He began working for Mathison Motors on June 1, 1933, and later became manager and part owner, and was active with the firm up through the time of his death.

Born Nov. 21, 1911, he was the son of Bartel M. and Katherine Mathison. On June 23, 1939, he married Armina Wilson at Lenox, Iowa. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church.

Survivors include his wife Armina, one son Michael I. Mathison of Kansas City, Kan., a daughter Katherine I. Mathison of Indianapolis, Ind., one granddaughter Mica Garner of Shenandoah.

He was preceded in death by his parent, a brother and a half sister.

Fr. Franz Lohberg will officiate at Tuesday morning's funeral services, with burial in the Nevada Cemetery. Scriptural wake services will be held at Ryan Funeral Home Monday at 7:30 p.m.
