Curtis I. Spooner
A retired farmer, Curtis Irvin Spooner, 89, died at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital on Saturday, Dec. 9.
Rev. Oscar F. Barrow will conduct the funeral at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday from the Cooper's Funeral Home in Maxwell. Interment will be in the Elkhart Cemetery
Surviving are two sons, Curtis N. Spooner of Elkhart and Claude Spooner of Des Moines, four daughters, Marie Allen and Mae Benshof both of Elkhart, Gladys Klein of St. Louis, Mo. and Maxine Evans of Polk City, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one brother, Marion Spooner of Ankeny.
His wife preceded him in death.
