"Funeral Services Held For Mrs. Mabel Arneson

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Mabel Arneson on Saturday, November 18 at 2:00 p.m. at Bergen Lutheran Church in Roland with Rev. Howard Lybeck officiating. Interment was at the Roland Cemetery.

Mabel Molde, the daughter of the late Osten and Augusta [Jacobson] Molde, was born south of Roland on June 26, 1899. On January 25, 1917, she married Jonas Arneson. She passed away Thursday, November 16, 1972, at the Story City Memorial Hospital at the age of 73.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters.

Survivors include her husband Jonas; two sons, Joel Arneson of California and O'Dean Arneson of Des Moines; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; one brother, Theodore Molde of Story City and two sisters, Mrs. Julia Thompson of Bethany Manor and Mrs. Gladys Vail of Nevada.

Pallbearers were Floyd Anderson, Don Stole, Oscar Chelsvig, Andrew Tjelmeland, Wallis Anderson, Jr. and Sherman Larson.

Soloist at the service was Harris Twedt, Jr. accompanied by Mrs. Robert Eischen at the organ."
