AREA DEATHS
MRS. LOWELL HARRIS
Mrs. Lowell Harris the former Myrtle Duea of Roland, died at an Ottumwa nursing home on Oct. 11.
The daughter of Melinda and Joseph Duea, she was born on July 31, 1893 in Roland. She lived in the Nevada and Marshalltown areas.
Her husband, who died in 1964, was in the garage business.
Surviving are one daughter, Arline, Mrs. Tom Day from Korea, one son, Orland from Phoenix, Ariz., three grandchildren, one great grandchild, five brothers, Homer Duea of Spirit Lake, Ben and Virgil Duea both from Lemon Grove, Calif., Joseph Duea of Hazelton and Victor Duea of Roland and three sisters, Mrs. Rosabell Aker of Le Mesa, Calif., Mrs. Faye Stout from Ames and Mrs. Cora Britson of Roland.
Graveside services and burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Gardens in Marshalltown. Memorial services will be conducted by Pastor Everett nelson in the Salem Lutheran Church in Roland at 2 o'clock Saturday.
