AREA DEATHS

MRS JENNIE K. WHEELER

Mrs. Jennie K. Wheeler who formerly lived west of Story City died Wednesday night at the Hamilton County Hospital in Webster City.

Born on March 20, 1889 in Boone, her parents were John and Christine McVicker.

She married George Wheeler on Sept. 25, 1912. They farmed in Harrison Township, Boone County until 1956 when they retired. From 1959 to 1969 she lived in Stanhope and since that time has been at the Crestview Nursing Home in Webster City.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Mackey United Methodist Church with burial at the Mackey Cemetery.

Two sons and two daughters survive, Kenneth Wheeler of Stanhope, Everett Wheeler of Boone, Mrs. Margaret Holmes, --------- and Mrs. Doris Johnson of West Des Moines. Other survivors include 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 14 step grandchildren, one great great grandchild, three brothers, Arthur McVicker --- --------, Clarence McVicker of Franklin Park, Ill. and Glenn McVicker of Cedar Creek, M-- and one sister, Mrs. Jim Pepper of Boone.

Preceding her were her husband who died April 2, 1957, her parents, two grandchildren, one great grandchild, two sisters and one brother.

Friends and relatives may call at the Soderstrum Larson Funeral Home in Stanhope.
