DEATHS

OLIVER C. RICHARDSON

Services for Oliver C. Richardson, 73, was held on Friday, Sept. 1, 1972 at 1:30 p.m. form the Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell with the Rev. Leroy Sargent officiating.

Casket bearers were John Schmidt, Dale Campbell, Richard Schultz, Kenneth Dory, Oliver Glauberg and George Longnecker.

Music was by Cindy Richardson and Laura Pearson.

Burial was in the White Oak Cemetery.

Oliver C. Richardson was born June 22, 1899 on a farm south of Cambridge to George and Minnie Fuller Richardson, being one of ten children. He died at the Borton Rest Home in Nevada where he had made his home since the fall of 1970.

He was married to Leona Estelle Barbee of Collins in 1926. To this union three boys and one daughter were born.

He had farmed most of his life in the Cambridge and White Oak area. Preceding him were his parents, his wife Leona and four brothers, Harvey, Hanford, Freddie and Floyd.

Survivors are his sons Clark of Nevada, Conrad of Woodward, Leon of Sheldahl and one daughter Georgia (Mrs. Robert Miller) of Cambridge; three brothers Dale of Whittier, Calif., Harry of Des Moines and John of Elkhart, three sisters Mrs. Margaret Crosby of St. Petersburg, Fla., Mrs. Earl (Sylvia) Swanson of Newton and Mrs. Grace McHone of Cambridge and 15 grandchildren.
