DEATHS

Clarence Hill

Funeral services for Clarence Hill were held Aug. 11, 1972 at the Fjeldberg Lutheran Church of Huxley with Pastor Marvin Nygard officiating.

Pallbearers were Clarence (Larry) Hill, Robert Hill, Dale Hill, Phillip Jordon, Tom Shaeffer, and Larry Hill.

Mr. Hill, 82, died Aug. 9th at the Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines following an extended illness.

Clarence Loney Hill was born Aug. 18, 1890 to Henry and Isabelle Hill on a farm near Huxley.
He was baptized in the Fjeldberg Lutheran Church at Huxley and confirmed in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church at Slater.

On June 27, 1912 he was united in marriage to Alice Cecelia Gord. Born to this union were five sons: Beverly, Irvin, Marion, Robert, Clyde and one daughter, Irene, who died in infancy.

Preceding him were three brothers, one sister, one son Irvin and one daughter.

He is survived by four sisters, four sons, 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
