THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, June 12, 1952, page 3, column 3. “LOCAL NEWS – Mrs. Nellie Bell Miller, a former resident of this community, passed away at her home in Springfield, Missouri, June 2nd. Roy Bell, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Bell and Mrs. Ethel Bell attended the services there.”

The Library Center 4653 South Campbell Avenue, Springfield, Missouri. THE SPRINGFIELD LEADER AND PRESS, Tuesday, 3 June, 1952. "MRS. NELLIE A. MILLER. - Mrs. Nellie A. Miller, 74, died yesterday at 7p.m. in her home, 836 West Scott following a heart attack. Survivors include a son, Byron of Las Mesa, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Leonard Snider of Wichita, Kan., and Mrs. O. D. Cotter of Springfield; two brothers, Bert and Roy Bell, both of Des Moines, Iowa, two sisters, Mrs. Walt Dackus** of Des Moines, and Mrs. Charles Byers also of Des Moines, and 15 grandchildren. Burial will be in Eastlawn cemetery under direction of Herman-Lohmeyer." **Editorial note - spelling used is from the original newspaper article.
