THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, June 15, 1933, page 4, column 3. "Mr. and Mrs. Jas. McGill mourn the death of their infant son, born May 21, and passed away Friday, Jun 9, in Mercy Hospital, Des Moines, age 2 weeks and 6 days. The little one had been ill with measles and complications. Service was read at Holy Cross Church Saturday morning at 10:30 by Rev. Jermine of Elkhart, and burial was in the Holy Cross cemetery. Two children remain and are also in Mercy hospital with the same trouble. Mr. and Mrs. McGill have the sympathy of their neighbors and friends in these hours of sorrow and anxiety."
